Een diploma uitreiking fotograferen is altijd leuk. Het zijn bijzondere mijlpalen voor de personen die een opleiding gevolgd hebben. Een mijlpaal die je niet wilt vergeten. Er gebeurt van alles, ookal zit men voor het grootste gedeelte. Ik mocht op de avond van mijn verjaardag de diploma uitreiking fotograferen van de Foundations of Management opleiding van Nyenrode Business University. Kijk en lees je mee?

Diploma uitreiking FMA opleiding van Nyenrode

 

Maandagavond 30 oktober ontvingen de deelnemers van het programma Foundations of Management (FMA) hun diploma tijdens een feestelijke diploma-uitreiking in een van de pareltjes van Nyenrode Business Universiteit, de Wapenzaal. Het is een van de prachtige zalen van het Kasteel Nijenrode te Breukelen. De deelnemers werd gevraagd iets te zeggen over één van hun collega-deelnemers. Er werden herinneringen opgehaald waarbij er ook veel gelachen werd. Toen het praatje voorbij was, het cadeautje gegeven was, werd het felbegeerde diploma uitgereikt. 26 diploma’s werden uitgereikt.

 

 

Dr. Bas Kodden (onder andere docent Leiderschap & persoonlijke ontwikkeling) gaf een ‘feestcollege’ over duurzaam presteren. Hij had ook een quizvraag waarbij een van de toeschouwers zijn boek kon winnen.

 

 

Tijdens FMA leren de deelnemers de essentie van bedrijfskunde binnen één jaar. De combinatie van een eenjarige leergang bedrijfskunde die wordt afgesloten met een erkend diploma.

Nou moet je weten dat de avonden in Oktober nogal donker kunnen zijn. Als je dan in een kasteel, in een van de torens, foto’s moet gaan maken, dan is het wel heel handig om ook een flits mee te nemen. Want als je dat niet doet, dan wordt het heel moeilijk om goede scherpe foto’s te nemen (ookal heb je een hele hoge ISO, lage sluitertijd, en een groot diafragma). Dat heb ik tenminste zo ervaren. Met mijn FUJI heb ik zonder flits de foto’s genomen, maar met mijn NIKON D600 moest ik eigenlijk al gelijk de flits gebruiken. Omdat ik documentaire fotografie beoefen probeer ik zo lang mogelijk te fotograferen zonder andere hulpmiddelen. Eigenlijk met helemaal geen hulpmiddelen zoals een flits, maar gebruikmakend van het licht dat er is. Maar wat als er bijna geen licht is, behalve het (keiharde) licht van spotjes van boven die rechtstreeks op de deelnemers valt? Als ik de flits niet gebruikt had, waren hun gezichten donker gebleven, in de schaduw. Dus dan toch maar de flits gebruiken voor een goed resultaat. Dit wat betreft een beetje fotografische achtergond :).

 

Het was een leuke gezellige avond! Gefeliciteerd allen!

Diploma ceremony of Foundations of Management training of Nyenrode Business University

 

Taking photos at a graduation ceremony is always fun. These are special milestones for those who have followed an education or training. A milestone that you do not want to forget. A lot of things happen, even though for the most part the spectators sit ;). I was allowed to photograph the graduation ceremony of the Foundations of Management program at Nyenrode Business University on the evening of my birthday.

On Monday evening, October 30th, the participants of the Foundations of Management (FMA) program received their diploma during a festive graduation ceremony in one of the gems of Nyenrode Business University, the Wapenzaal. It is one of the beautiful rooms of ‘Kasteel Nijenrode in Breukelen’. The participants were asked to say something about one of their fellow participants. There was a lot of reminiscing and there was also a lot of laughter. When the chat was over, the gift was given, and the diploma was given. 26 diplomas. Dr. Bas Kodden (a lecturer in Leadership & Personal Development) gave a ‘party lecture’ about sustainable performance. He also had a quiz question with which one of the spectators could win his book.

 

During FMA participants learn the essence of business administration within one year. The combination of a one-year course in business administration and is concluded with a recognized diploma.

 

Diploma award ceremony

 

Well, you should know that evenings in October can be quite dark. If you then have to take pictures in a castle, in one of the towers, it is very useful to also take a flash with you. Because if you don’t, it will be very difficult to take good sharp pictures (even if you have a very high ISO, low shutter speed, and a large aperture). At least I experienced this. With my FUJI I took the pictures without a flash, but with my NIKON D600 I had to use the flash. Because I practice documentary photography, I try to photograph as long as possible without other tools. Actually with no tools at all like a flash, but using the light that is available. But if there is almost no light except the light of spotlights from above that falls directly on the participants? If I had not used the flash, their faces would have remained dark, in the shadow. This in terms of a little photographic background :).
