Being the event photographer for the European Women Payments Network (EWPN) Annual Conference & Awards is such a joy. Each year it has been such a wonderful, inclusive, warm event with so many smiles, hugs, friends meeting each other again, ‘new’ people being welcomed, serious inclusive conversation being made. I’ve been told that the warmth was reflected in the photos last year and I hope that it will be true again this year. I am happy being part of their ’tribe’!

EWPN pre-conference workshops, award dinner, and Conference
EWPN works with sponsors, big sponsors. This year two of their sponsors was Mastercard and Money2020. Money2020 were hosting their own gran event in the RAI in Amsterdam and they had a deal with the organization of EWPN that they would pay their space at the RAI Amsterdam. In exchange their participants could also visit the EWPN Conference. This is the reason why the event took place June of this year instead of oktober like last year. EWPN started their Conference with some kick-ass workshops.
Like last year the Awards dinner was full of talks, laughter and singing. And this year it ended in a ‘bit of dancing’! Watch the video to see some of those fun EPWN moments!
The Conference in the RAI Amsterdam featured once again very international interactive panels and panel discussion sessions with industry leaders. And it was informative, inspiring, fun to look at! With the lovely Conny Dorrestijn, host speaker, during the entire event, while also doing a job for Money2020. She did an amazing job this year! Highlight for me was her singing with Chris Skinner, a big name in the business I gathered 😀 .

I am happy when the final product, in this case the photos, makes me happy. If it something we can proudly show on Social Media or on our website. That is the best thing. Photos that perfectly represent our brand. Professional. Good quality. Capturing the moments and the atmosphere that we are really trying to build, comfortable and inclusive. I am happy when I can build a long-term relationship with a person, who is involved, who could be part of my ‘tribe’. And that’s what we found in Sandra!”

Closing Keynote
The closing keynote was done by Mandy Hickson a former Tornado GR4 Pilot with the Royal Air Force! Just like Charlie McMurdie was last year, Mandy is an awesome motivational speaker speaking with such passion, energie and enthusiasm. I loved listening to her!

This time the Awards Dinner was hosted at the Hilton and the next day the EWPN Conference was at the RAI, during Money2020 in Amsterdam. I wrote this blog in English because there are so many international guests that may want to read this blog 🙂 .
